Janet Jackson certainly made history last night, May 20, 2018, as the first Black woman to receive the Billboard Icon Award, but it was her first televised performance in nine years that really left folks talking.

Ms. Jackson performed a trio of songs, "Nasty," "If," and "Throb." The 52-year-old was accompanied on stage by dozens of dancers, and showed off her signature dance moves while wearing gold thigh-high boots. Bruno Mars introduced the entertainer.
