
Quick Pics: 'Behind the Movement' Premieres in Montgomery and Atlanta
For Black History Month, TV One is taking viewers behind the Civil Rights Movement by going deeper into a story we're all familiar with -- RosaParks's refusal to relinquish her bus seat to a white passenger which resulted in the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The upcoming TV One film, Behind the Movement, stars Isaiah Washington (E.D. Nixon), Meta Golding (Rosa Parks), Roger Guenveur Smith (Raymond) and LorettaDevine (Jo Ann Robinson), and will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 11th at 7/6c.
In anticipation of the release date, TV One screened Behind the Movement at The Rosa Parks Museum(252 Montgomery St.) in Montgomery, AL and at the Center for Civil and Human Rights(100 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd NW) in Atlanta.
