SocietEye: Andra Day Hosts Star-Studded Oscars After-Party
Andra Day hosted a party last night, April 25, at Spring Place LA in Beverly Hills to celebrate her nomination for the Best Actress Academy Award for The United States vs. Billie Holiday, which was her film debut.
Lee Daniels, who assigned Day the lead role and directed her in the film, and fellow cast members Miss Lawrence; Garret Hedlund; Tyler James Williams; Evan Ross, and Rob Morgan attended the socially-distant soiree to honor their leading lady. Day’s friend and model Winnie Harlow and actor Emma Roberts, who is wife to Hedlund and a new mom, also enjoyed the festivities in Spring Place’s expansive outdoor oasis. The venue is a private membership club that offers the Hollywood elite a discreet yet elegant, chic, and cool place to meet, so it was perfect to location to honor Day and Billie Holiday’s music and legacy. DJ Kiss provided the soundtrack for the night.
