Actress and singer Vanessa Williams made the shocking revelation that she was molested some time ago. However, the star recently opened up, describing her female perpetrator’s impact on her at just 10 years old.
Williams, who came under fire for racy girl-on-girl shots after being crowned Miss America, discussed the childhood vacation in which she was exposed to sexual acts first in her 2012 memoir You Have No Idea.
“We ended up staying with a family friend of theirs. They had an older daughter,” she said, in an interview on “Oprah’s Master Class” that aired Tuesday on OWN.
“[She] was one of the cool girls … She made you want to feel like you were a grown-up.”
