The Beyoncé and Jay Z tour has officially been confirmed with Mrs. Carter dropping the official poster of the “On the Run” tour on her eponymous website. The 15-date stadium tour will mark the first time music’s richest couple will take their music on the road together. Kicking off in Miami, the tour will make stops across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping on August 5 in San Francisco.
The couple’s romance has spilled onto each other’s albums for years with hits “Drunk in Love,” “Crazy in Love,” “’03 Bonnie & Clyde,” and “Deja Vu.” The set list will be interesting considering Beyoncé’s move from her traditional R&B and Destiny’s Child-approved pop into a more Hip Hop-influenced, sexually liberated artist. Maybe Blue Ivy Carter will make a surprise appearance during the G-rated portion of the family affair.
The #Beyhive better get their coins ready since they’ll have access to tickets during the pre-sale on April 29 at 10 a.m. Everyone else can grab theirs May 1. In collaboration with Beyoncé’s #BEYGood initiative, $1 of each ticket sale will go to the Shawn Carter Foundation, Jay Z’s charity that helps underprivileged kids with getting a college education.
The “On The Run” tour will hit the following cities:
