The “Today” family embraced Hall with a warm welcome and open arms during this morning’s broadcast.
“We’re really excited to officially welcome Tamron into the ‘Today’ family,” announced Don Nash, said the executive producer. “She brings wit, enthusiasm and a keen sensibility to an all-around fantastic team, and I think Tamron, Al, Natalie, and Willie will have a lot of fun together hosting the third hour.”
Hall often filled in for Carson Daly in “The Orange Room,” where she interviewed Hugh Jackman, Mariah Carey, and Instagram’s CEO Kevin Systrom. The MSNBC host used her voice to raise awareness of domestic abuse by honoring sister Renate, a victim of domestic violence.
Between her hosting gigs, the 43-year-old journalist finds time to connect with her supporters through social media. She gives exclusive behind the scene looks into her daily grind through #TamCam on Instagram and Twitter.
Hall tweeted before rushing off for her 11 a.m. segment on “NewsNation” on MSNBC:
Oh my another welcome piece airs 9:30 on @TODAYshow I am getting spoiled. Meet my family and friends
