Naomi Campbell is reportedly eying her very own talk show following the success of her Oxygen reality competition The Face, according to the Daily Mail.
Sources close to the supermodel say she’s been approached by a “major US network,” provided she’s ready to take the leap into hosting. The recent interest of over Campbell getting her own talker stemmed from her support of diversity on the runway during this year’s New York Fashion Week.
Campbell and fellow model Iman backed former model agency owner Bethann Hardison in her campaign to see more faces of color.
“Naomi recently gave a lot of tough news interviews on the subject of Diversity in Fashion and she excelled and really found her role as intelligent commentator and pundit fulfilling,” a source said. “She’s had offers from Kate Couric, The Today Show and The View for her to be a guest commentator and/or anchor.”
A rep for the 43-year-old star told Vogue.com: “I can confirm that there are offers on the table, but I can’t elaborate further at this time due to ongoing negotiations.”
Campbell is said to be busy with the second season of The Face and the debut of The Face Australia and will consider the talk show opportunity when things settle down.
