Three weeks after the release of his sophomore album Born Sinner, J. Cole has surpassed his competition to claim the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. As of Wednesday (July 10), the “Power Trip” rapper had sold 439,000 records– 58,000 in just the last week.
“3 weeks later. #1 Album in the country. Born Sinner. Thank You … Follow your Heart. You won’t fail,” J. Cole tweeted Tuesday in response to the wonderful news.
