Three days after a twin bombing at the Boston Marathon that claimed three lives and injured dozens, President Obama assured the city that our nation stands firmly behind them. While speaking at an interfaith prayer service on Thursday, the POTUS also issued a message to the perpetrator or perpetrators of the attack.
“If they sought to intimidate us, to terrorize us, to shake us from those values … that define us as Americans, it should be pretty clear by now that they picked the wrong city to do it to. Not here in Boston,” Obama said.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano confirmed that the FBI is actively searching for the people seen on a video taken near the finish line and is asking for the public’s help to locate those individuals.
