Forbes‘ annual “30 Under 30” list is set and, as expected, the talented bunch of movers and shakers doesn’t disappoint. From sports figures to musicians to social entrepreneurs and Hollywood’s elite, these young stars took over 2012 in a huge way.
At 24, Rihanna is coming off a big year with the release of her seventh studio album Unapologetic, a worldwide (and chaotic) promotional tour, the launch of her movie career, a television series and more. While the Grammy-award winning singer is often the source of celebrity gossip, Rih is laughing all the way to the bank with earnings that total a reported $53 million.

Miami Heat star LeBron James found his way onto the annual list once again after leading his team to a national championship back in June. If that wasn’t enough, the 27-year-old MVP brought home a gold medal from the 2012 London Olympic Games and was named Sport’s Illustrated Sportsman of the Year in early December.
Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl creator Issa Rae, 27, is an undeniable force on the Forbes list with the success of several hilarious webisodes and her partnership with writer/producer Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal). The pair are expected to premiere a new sitcom, I Hate LA Dudes, on ABC.
