British cosmetics brand Illamasqua believes in self-expression and its new collection, Generation Q, is no exception. The collection, which contains everything Illamasqua fans need to get glam, was designed to be inclusive and worn regardless of race, gender, or age. This message is incorporated into its ad campaign that features the faces of real men and women of all ages and shades, including a 72-year-old from the United Kingdom, under the tagline: “Where beauty has no age limits.”
Illamasqua wants consumers to celebrate their age and the physical characteristics that set them apart by using Generation Q as a way to celebrate themselves, instead of covering up. With intentions to complement the user, Generation Q still stays true to Illamasquaâ€™s mantra: “Makeup for your alter ego.”
The collection consists of a four-piece multi-texture eye palette; a deep raspberry pink lipstick called Magnetism; two new Intense lip glosses in Opulent, a rainbow beige, and Boost, a blueberry violet; the new highlighter Gleam, which is formulated to lift wherever applied; a dusty rose pink shimmer Powder Blusher; and an antique gold Precision Ink, an liquid eyeliner.
