The families of Tameka Raymond and Ryan Glover are remaining strong as they continue to pray over 11-year-old Kile Glover who was left brain dead after a jet ski accident on Friday.
While floating on an inner tube in Georgia’s Lake Lanier, Kile and a 15-year-old girl were struck by the personal watercraft driven by Jeffrey Hubbard, a family friend.
Hubbard is currently under investigation for the accident, but authorities said they don’t believe alcohol or mechanical malfunction were to blame.
CNN reports the family has held a vigil for Kile since Friday and Usher, his former stepfather, visited the hospital early Saturday morning. The family released the following statement on Tuesday:
“We know God’s in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it’s the best way we can all support him now.”
Kile is one of two children between Raymond and Glover, her first husband. She and Usher have two boys, Usher V (4) and Naviyd (3).
