“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.” — Jesus Christ
Authentic self-expression is the bringing forth of what is within you. Here, Jesus speaks in terms of life and death, save and destroy. Is self-expression really that important?
Yes! Every great teacher speaks of the importance of self-expression. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Beauty without expression is boring.”
The beauty within us cannot be perceived by the world without expression. Fear — and forms of fear manifest, anxiety, fatigue, laziness, procrastination, etc. — are the only things that prevent us from fully bringing forth what is within us. Our realities are a reflection of what is happening within. If we express our creative genius, our realities must reflect that shift.
How would our lives look if we were fully self-expressed? Some people may argue that chaos would ensue, but the type of self-expression I speak of here is divine. What pearl is developing within you that is waiting to surface?
Last week we spoke of your genius. This week, I dare you to express it!
