This might be the best Monday pick-me-up, ever: WWD reports that the fast-fashion giants over at H&M have tapped iconic avant-garde label Maison Martin Margiela for their next designer collaboration. Cannot. Contain. Excitement.
Although H&M’s spokeswoman refuses to “comment on rumors,” the fashion trade journal’s trusted “market sources” have confirmed the news, which is why the entire blogosphere is a-buzz. And given that the retailer has been veering toward a more fashion-forward approach to design, (their Sofia Coppola-approved capsule collection with Marni was a major hit and their upcoming accessories range with Anna Dello Russo is sure to sell out), we have no reason not to believe the hype.
