Earlier this week, Basketball Wives creator Shaunie O’Neal revealed to The Insider that three women were being cut from the team and those names have finally surfaced.
Jennifer Williams, Royce Reed and Kesha Nichols have all reportedly been axed from the popular reality series and will be replaced by next season. Between Williams’ pending lawsuit with Nia Crooks, Reed’s legal battle with her child’s father Dwight Howard and Nichols “boring” personality (read: mature personality), the trio will be served their walking papers any day now.
O’Neal insists the cuts are not personal, telling The Insider that she’s just trying to go in a different direction.
“I think there is hope for this all to get better,” she said. “I think it starts a lot with the ladies taking responsibility for what they’ve done and changing it.”
While nothing has been confirmed by VH1 reps, Nichols told Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Wednesday that she has not received her invitation to return.
