Yet it’s surprising to me that after four seasons of Basketball Wives, Shaunie would make such a comment. Even if her assessment were right about herself and all of the girls, when doing reality TV isn’t it the norm to act up?
When Shaunie said that she felt partially responsible for the beef between Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada, I cheered because it meant that she was taking responsibility for a monster that she did indeed help create.
Has the audience, fans and opponents, been judgmental? Definitely. But when doing a reality show thick skin is necessary. Let’s not turn the tables and look at the cast of Basketball Wives as the victims – that’s certainly not the case.
Instead, let’s take a look at the loose ends that the
reunion special left hanging because we’re still,
albeit sadly, invested in this show and the
women’s drama after several seasons.
