The network announced Monday that actor/comedian is currently developing the late-night series that will premiere in fall 2013; the project is yet to be titled.
Interestingly, the show will be carried by 17 Tribune Broadcasting stations which include New York’s WPIX, Los Angeles’ KTLA, Chicago’s WGN and more. The show has been sold to all top 10 markets that cover 52 percent of the country and there are more to come.
Many remember The Arsenio Hall Show that ran through the late ’80s and early ’90s with popular guests such as then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton, Eddie Murphy, MC Hammer and others. And who could forget the dog pound?
“It’s an amazing feeling to be going home to my old friends and colleagues and firing up our ‘Night Thing,'” Hall said. “Let’s get busy…again!”
Hall will executive produce the new series.
