If anybody can spruce up a drab wardrobe, it’s June Ambrose— celebrity stylist to the likes of Alicia Keys, Diddy (you remember the shiny suits?), Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige and countless others. Her newest project: teaming up with VH1 for her new, half-hour docu-series “The June Ambrose Project”.
The new series, tentatively titled, will center around the stylist and her assistants as they revamp the looks of up-and-coming actors, muscians and such. Each episode will follow her clients are she makes them over and “rebrands” their style.
Viewers will also get a glimpse into the ultra-busy life of Ambrose, chronicling her personal life, styling house (Mode Squad) and growing empire. We’re sure to see at least a few A-list celebs make guest appearances!
Jeff Olde, EVP of Original Programming and Production for VH1, says:
“We at VH1 are so thrilled to dive into the fashion world with none other than the industry’s top styling icon, June Ambrose. June is a true original and a creative force of nature who will offer our viewers an exclusive peek behind the curtain into her world of celeb fashion and branding.”
The series is scheduled to premiere early 2012.
