Last night, VH1 premiered the third season of “The T.O. Show” after a hiatus, a move, and an injury – not necessarily in that order. When we last heard from Terrell Owens, he sustained a torn ACL and nobody knew if he would be returning to the field. With his two best friends – Monique Jackson and Kita Williams by his side, we get to see the athlete rehab his knee in what seems to be one of the most honest portrayals of athletic life on TV.
From season one, until now – the bond between Owens and his two gal pals was apparent. They fought hard, cared hard, and loved hard. At the end of season two, Jackson and Owens had an argument that erupted and resulted in Jackson quitting as one of his publicists. She makes a full return this season and their relationship remains in tact.
“Everybody has taken on a different life of their own. As the show unfolds, they (audiences) will see that. Regardless of how the show is viewed, we will always remain friends,” Owens says.
