At first it was hard to believe that the test drive vehicle of the week was the absolutely gorgeous 2011 Jaguar XKR Convertible. After all, it’s not every day that someone hands over the keys to a beautiful $103,375 vehicle. And beautiful it certainly was. Vapour grey with an ivory/oyster interior, soft leather seats, this Jag certainly looked the part and never failed to attract attention. To make things even better, the weather in Atlanta was very much convertible-worthy and so the top was indeed dropped.
It goes without saying that the drive was smooth. The parking aid alert is a great feature. Get close to anything, meaning in the front, back or side, and parking aid alert is on it. Another cool feature is the adaptive headlights. They both elevate and drop so, when you reverse especially, they guide you. Also, the side mirrors adjust when the car is in reverse so you can better see the curb. And when you lock the doors and exit, the mirrors fold into the side of the car.
