Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it seems only fitting that some of the most influential individuals in entertainment would join the fight against the deadly disease. Hip-hop artist and producer-turned-fashion mogul, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs (renowned for his “White Party” in the Hamptons) will be hosting a “Pink Party” on Long Island, tonight at 11pm.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit 1 in 9:The Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition and the LIPSG Foundation. Patrons are advised to wear a splash of pink. Diddy will also be hosting his first Long Island night-life appearance at GLO Nightclub.
No stranger to lending a helping hand to those in need, Diddy previously created a hot pink slip for charity through his clothing line, Sean John for Breast Cancer Care. He has supported the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and visited a 17-year-old cancer patient at a charity tennis match. Other charitable efforts include his raising of more than $2 million for New York schools and children suffering from HIV/AIDS in the New York City Marathon.
Congrats to the Long Island Promotion Group that inked this deal and to those who will be attending tonight. Enjoy!
